SOUTH FLORIDA STORM |
The Storm took care of business this past Saturday in a 53-6 rout of the Yellowtails. Storm warnings have been posted all over FIU-North Stadium in preparation for the offensive-less Mariners this week. |
|
2 |
ORLANDO RATTLERS |
The Rattlers defeated the Gators this past Saturday to keep pace with the Storm and take control of the North. |
|
3 |
FLORIDA STINGRAYS |
The Stingrays were rolling to a 22-0 whipping of the Stallions this past Saturday before Ocala pulled the plug at halftime. Although they haven't been tested by a good defense yet, that will change when the Saints come to town on Saturday. |
|

GAINESVILLE GATORS |
The Gators played the Rattlers tough, but came out on the losing end this time. Now that they know what they're up against, the rematch at Lee Leonard Stadium on March 10th will be a hot ticket in O-Town. The Gators will rebound this week vs. the Tigers. |
|
5 |
SOUTH FLORIDA SAINTS |
The Saints squeezed out just enough offense this past Saturday to allow its defense to do the rest against the Mariners. They'll be tested this week against a Stingrays team that appears to be all about offense. |
|
6 |
VOLUSIA COUNTY EAGLES |
The Eagles thumped the young and inexperienced Tigers this past Saturday and may have gained a lil' confidence as well going into their game at home vs. the Yellowtails. The jury is still out on this bunch. |
|

PALM BEACH MARINERS
|
For a second week in a row the Mariners defense played very good, well enough to win. But they're offense is a work in-progress and they've lost their starting QB for the year due to injury. As if things couldn't get any worse, they travel to North Miami Beach this week to take on the Storm who apppear to be getting into a groove. |
|
8 |
POMPANO BEACH YELLOWTAILS |
The Yellowtails had no answers this past Saturday against the Storm and travel to South Daytona this week to take on the Eagles where a repeat outcome could be in the making. Their secondary needs some help and the offense needs to pick it up to prevent any further damage to the young season. |
|
9 |
BAY AREA TIGERS |
The Tigers took it on the chin for a second straight week, and it doesn't get any better against the Gators this Saturday. They're building for the future and team owner Luis Rosario has his hands full, but his plan is long term and should be given some time to play out. |
|
10 |
OCALA STALLIONS |
The Stallions are #10 because SAFA doesn't have 11 or more teams that would allow us to rate this club any lower in the rankings. They embarrassed themselves and the league this past Saturday and their lil' stunt will most likely land them fines from the SAFA President's Office. It's one thing to fail on the field, it's another to fail in ALL other aspects off-the-field. |
